Organisation and legal structure
We want to make BARAKA as independent, free, solidary and sustainable as possible. This requires a legal structure as a basis that enables us to do this.
A foundation as a basis
We are in the process of finding out what kind of foundation / association or similar will best suit BARAKA. The legal structure is to own and administer the land of BARAKA. It should offer us people working there a clear foundation and a framework in which we can enjoy far-reaching freedom to shape the country, our life there, our buildings, the way we support children (free learning) independently and self-effectively.

guard the land
With BARAKA we want to get out of the classic form of private ownership on land. We see ourselves as guardians of the land, want to live on it and care for it - become a part of it. The lands of the BARAKA center are said to belong to the jointly operated foundation, whose statutes state the guardianship of the land.
individuality AND solidarity
We are people who love their freedom and independence. We are also people who recognize the need for connectedness and solidarity and want to integrate it into our lives. We believe that these values can complement each other positively and that they are more important than ever in current times.
We are in solidarity with each other by always seeing ourselves as responsible for one another.
We remain individual, free and responsible people and families; also within BARAKA. From our resources (money, time, skills) we give to BARAKA what corresponds to our heart at the respective point in time. We give and take from each other out of love. This is our vision not only for BARAKA, but also in our other networks and ultimately for all people on earth.
